Dining in Ghost Town

When you are in confinement this much and the longest trip is either to your washroom or bedroom, you can’t help but crave for a breather in surroundings that remind you of being alive and other humans. I hadn’t realized how much I missed dressing up until got into my easy button-down dress and feeling like a girl with a place to be and things to do, except this time I was only going with a mission of saving my sanity.  While enjoying delicacies at Harvest here, the streets, mall even the restaurant felt a lot like lonely planet. There is a vibrant energy when there are happy people on a table next to you over an empty table. Truth be told, the looks on their faces reflected the fear and uncertainty on mine.  But it was obvious they craved being out as much as I did. The measures around will not let you forget even for a second the crisis the world is in. I know it is a tough time, some of us have lost jobs, some businesses, some health, some loved ones, but I hope we stay strong, for us and for those who can’t stay strong for themselves,  I only hope we heal, I hope…
